Compliance AI:
Continuous visibility into risk, not after-the-fact checks.

Continuous monitoring of relevant processes and interactions, with immediate flagging of deviations.

How do we maintain continuous visibility into risk and compliance, without having to check after the fact through spot checks?

What it delivers

Continuous monitoring of relevant processes and interactions, with immediate flagging of deviations. No periodic audit, but ongoing visibility. Includes risk assessment (previously offered separately as AI Risk Management).

How it works

Compliance AI continuously checks processes against the rules laid down in the Ontology (laws and regulations, internal policy frameworks, contractual requirements). Deviations are flagged immediately instead of only surfacing at the next check.

Applied by sector

Three examples of Compliance AI in practice, by sector.

Government

Municipal controllers currently account for the spending of public funds primarily after the fact, through random sampling or annual audits. Compliance AI continuously tests decisions and expenditures against applicable regulations and flags deviations immediately.

Insurers

Underwriters currently assess policy risk primarily based on a snapshot taken at the time of inception, even though that risk can change later on. Compliance AI flags when a file or policy deviates from the expected risk profile the moment it happens.

Facility sector

A quality coordinator currently checks compliance with contractual agreements and safety standards for each location separately, with a delay between execution and verification. Compliance AI flags deviations from contracts or standards the moment they occur.

Healthcare

A quality officer at a mental healthcare institution only discovers a protocol deviation during the quarterly audit, months after it occurred. Compliance AI flags deviations in schedules, files, and protocols the moment they arise.
